Photo Friday: The Road


Another downtown Richmond Shot. I have a series of pics in "Shockoe Slip" which is the part of town next to the James River, under the railroad and freeways, and near the historic 17th street station (pictured here). And yes....you can park underneath and near all this loveliness...FOR FREE! Just down the road, my husband bought me (from a local antique store) an amber bracelet for Christmas and my unique business card holder (from Fountain Books). Fountain Books is a place that smells like my mom's small-town book store that I worked in as a youth. It seems old and wise and although missing the coffee smell, is a wonderful break from B & N. Posted by Picasa
