Veteran's Cemetary

There are silk flowers on each grave with blooms sprouting all year, tea lights that illuminate the dead at night, a pet cemetary across the street, a mauseleum, a lone tree on a hill overlooking a pond inhabited by ducks that look like kitchy lawn decorations. And there's this statue, in a courtyard, surrounded by Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Posted by Picasa

Photo Friday: Common

One swim party, a little man, and some bigger kids. I guess you're never too young to imagine being bigger, different, morphed, turbo-d, more.

Photo Friday: Summer

Yes, there were bees hanging around like waiting taxis. There were salads served with stories of family, home, grief, and life. There were home-grown watermelons and long ago friendships. A spot in the dessert for a few to gather under the shade of a disposed storage shed, an a-line roof, and the company of refuge. Posted by Picasa
